John R. Prince counsels clients regarding business and transactional law, estate planning, intellectual property law, entertainment law and conflict resolution. John’s practice also includes the areas of trademarks, copyrights, branding and intellectual property litigation and support.
John received his Juris Doctor Degree and Masters of Law Degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from the University of Dayton School of Law where he was also a recipient of the CALI Award in Civil Litigation. He received his bachelor’s degree in Recording Industry Management from Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Prince served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas A. Varlan in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee as well as spent time working with distinguished law firms on Nashville’s Music Row.
In 2010, John was licensed to practice in Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association for Justice. In his free time, you can find John playing a round of golf or picking on one of his many guitars.
