R. Scott Pearson is a Member of the firm's Real Estate team and currently serves as Co-Chief Counsel for Admiral Title, Inc. and Title Partners of East Tennessee, LLC. He advises clients in their endeavors related to commercial real estate matters, commercial financing and general business transactions.

The majority of Scott’s time is concentrated on real estate-related transactions, with specific emphasis on title insurance law, real estate acquisitions and development, development and dispositions, complex commercial financing transactions and lease transactions. Scott also regularly represents lending institutions in all types of real estate financings, and has had significant experience advising lenders in the work-out and restructuring of loans. Scott’s practice also includes general business and commercial law with a focus on legal opinion letters.

Scott received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2005 and received his Bachelors of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2000.

Scott is a Member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Knoxville Bar
Association and Tennessee Land Title Association.
